Dome Cameras

Dome Cameras are the most popular camera. They are cost effective, low profile and can be hard to tell which way the lens is pointing. Dome cameras typically have a fixed iris, although we do offer them with PTL (pan, tilt, zoom). Normal resolution is 350-420 lines.

We offer dome cameras with 1/4" Sharp and 1/4" Sony CCD sensors. We also offer 1/3" Sony and 1/3" Sharp CCD sensors. We prefer the 1/3" CCD since the bigger sensor allows more light and a larger field of view at the same depth of a 1/4".

These cameras can be had with a clear dome or a smoke colored dome. The smoke colored is the most popular since it's harder to see which way the lens is pointing.

Armor dome cameras are also available. They offer weather proofing as well as protection against vandalism.
