High Resolution Camera pricing.

High resolution cameras can cost a little more than normal cameras, but they offer a much better picture. Look for the number of TV Lines the camera has to find out if it's a high res or not.

The number of TV lines in the video produced by the security camera is a measure of picture resolution (sharpness). The larger the number of TV lines, the better the resolution and hence, overall picture quality. Over 370 TV Lines is generally considered good resolution while over 450 TV Lines are considered high resolution.

Even though the industry considers "high res" to be over 450 lines, we consider it to be 480 TVL (TV Lines) or greater. Most of our high resolution cameras have 480, 520 or higher. We actually have some high resolution cameras with 560 TVL!
