Infra-red or night vision cameras allow seeing and recording video in total darkness. A night vision security camera provides clear images no matter what kind of lighting conditions it’s placed in.

By day, the I/R camera works as a normal camera, showing video in full color. By night (or just in dark places), the LEDs around the camera's lens turn on and then you can see (in black and white) in total darkness.

There are Cameras that include the infra-red LEDs and there are also add-on infra-red devices for your existing cameras, so you do not have to replace your equipment, just add to it.
