Customer Feedback:
“Western Data has been with us since we started installing
computers at our workstations. Western Data handled the installation
of the server and knows how everything is supposed to be setup. We
know that we can call Western Data and if our assigned engineer cannot
come out to diagnose the problem, another engineer can come out and the
problem will be fixed. If we have a problem of any kind, we know
Western Data will address the issue and fix it. We can depend on
Western Data to keep us working.”

“Western Data builds computers to our specifications, delivers,
and sets up within days. We had a catastrophic hard drive failure
in our file server. Within 24 hours, Western Data replaced the drive,
restored the system, and had us working. Western Data is local, fast,
reliable, and provides excellent service. I am very happy with the
assistance Western Data provides.”

“All of our experiences with Western Data have been good. We
have local hardware and software technicians assigned to us providing respectable
response times. They provide quality hardware. We are very
happy with our new network and networked print/copiers. This project
eliminated our document management problems. The biggest benefit
for us is a single source for hardware and the maintenance for it.”

“The most impressive attribute are the friendliness and prompt
attention to any issues we have. Recently I arrive at work to find
our file server was down – I called Western Data and within one hour
the engineer was at our office and within an hour later we were back in
business. The quality I most appreciate about Western Data is their
rapid response.“

Top 10 Trojans
A Trojan horse is a program that allows a hacker to make changes to your computer.
Typically, a Trojan will install itself on your computer without prior knowledge
or consent. Unlike viruses, a Trojan does not replicate itself. A Trojan usually
disguises itself as a harmless software program and is acquired by clicking
on Internet pop-ups, downloading software, or by opening an e-mail attachment.
Once installed on your computer, Trojans have the ability to create, delete,
rename, view, or transfer files to and from your computer. Trojans may use
a program manager that allows a hacker to install, execute, open, or close
software programs. The hacker may have the ability to open and close your CD-ROM
drive, gain control of your cursor and keyboard, and even send spam by sending
mass e-mails from your infected computer. A Trojan typically runs in the background,
hiding its presence.
Worst case scenario: A third party may gain access to your computer
and steal your identity or download so much spyware that it renders the
computer useless
